How to Beautify Your StumbleUpon Blog with Pictures
Do you want to have a dry, boring StumbleUpon blog? Well, I guess not. Unfortunately, unless you review a photo, the typical reviews on your StumbleUpon blog will look like this:
Not so interesting, is it? Now, what do you think about the next one?
I guess this one is much better. Here you have something to see instead of just text. Fortunately, it’s not difficult to beautify your StumbleUpon blog with pictures. Let’s see how.
Step 1: Choose a picture
Of course, first of all you need a picture. My favorite place to find pictures is stock.xchng. It has tons of picture you can use for free. So go there and find a good picture to use.
Step 2: Copy the location of the picture
After you find the picture, you need to copy the location of the picture. To do that in Firefox, just right click on the picture and choose Copy Image Location.
Step 3: Edit your review
Next, go back to your StumbleUpon blog and edit your review.
Step 4: Paste the image location
After your review is in edit mode, paste the image location there. Simply press Ctrl-V in Windows to do this.
Step 5: Write the image tag
Now you should put the image location within an image tag. For example, if the image location you paste is:
http://www.sxc.hu/pic/m/s/sa/sachyn/940459_puzzle_pieces_2.jpg
You should make it:
<img src=”http://www.sxc.hu/pic/m/s/sa/sachyn/940459_puzzle_pieces_2.jpg” />
All you need to do is typing a few characters before and after the image location.
Step 6: Save the changes and enjoy!
After you’ve done that, you can press Save changes button and… voila! Your new picture is there on your StumbleUpon blog.
Even better, you are not limited to just one picture. You can add as many pictures as you want and enjoy a more beautiful StumbleUpon blog.
